Konseling Individual dalam Pengembangan Emosi Anak Usia Dini
Abstract
Perkembangan emosi pada anak usia dini merupakan fondasi penting bagi terbentuknya kemampuan sosial serta regulasi diri anak dalam tahap perkembangan selanjutnya. Beragam persoalan emosi, seperti ketidakmampuan mengelola perasaan dan munculnya perilaku emosional yang kurang adaptif, menunjukkan perlunya intervensi yang tepat sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran konseling individual dalam mendukung pengembangan emosi anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dengan menganalisis jurnal ilmiah dan buku akademik bereputasi yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa konseling individual memiliki peran signifikan dalam membantu anak memahami, mengekspresikan, serta mengendalikan emosi secara positif melalui hubungan konseling yang empatik dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan anak. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan layanan yang lebih personal dan sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak usia dini. Tantangan dalam pelaksanaan konseling individual meliputi keterbatasan kemampuan komunikasi anak, keterlibatan orang tua yang belum optimal, serta kompetensi konselor. Adapun solusi yang dapat diterapkan mencakup penggunaan media bermain, penguatan kolaborasii dengan orang tua, serta peningkatan kompetensi profesional konselor.
